Manny, Papi make “the list” from 2003

It’s not confirmed, but the New York Times is usually pretty good with these things.

Michael Schmidt of the Times reports that David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez were among the 100 or so players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in the 2003 season. Schmidt says he got the information from lawyers and others connected with litigation related to the 2003 positive tests.

He also notes that the lawyers did not say what substance the two players might have received positive tests for.
