Raji report impossible-ish

There is a longstanding issue that I have with the media and anonymous sources. It has become common practice to cite a source “familiar with (whatever it is) but asked for anonymity due to the sensitivity of (ongoing whatever it is)”. Well la-di-da. Maybe this practice is all well-and-good, especially when it protects actual sources and continues to bring pertinent, truthful information to the journalist. But when that information is a logical near impossibility and could severely damage the earning power and job prospects of a potential NFL player, that’s when this practice becomes garbage.
