Mitch King, DT Iowa

Posted by Adam Hart April 6, 2009 at 8:33 am

Mitch King: 6′1 ½, 280 lbs

Mitch King doesn’t have the prototypical physical aspects of a big time defensive tackle — but he sure plays like one.

King is a two-time All-Big Ten selection, and plays with the edge to prove it.

A fiery player, King is a team leader and someone who can get under the skin of opposing players, simply because he never quits on a play until the whistle blows.

The trouble with King is finding a spot on the field where he can make the biggest difference. But a good NFL coach will find a use for a dedicated player such as him.
