Crabtree is recovery from a fractured foot, which kept him out of pre-draft workouts. Much can be said about the positives that Crabtree brings to the game of football. He was a man amongst boys at the college level. He runs tight routes. He always finds a way to get open on big plays. And he goes out to get the ball when making a catch, keeping his body out of the equation.

But with all those positives comes one negative — he drops balls at crucial moments. Not all the time, but in the way that Terrell Owens drops a pass here or there. And while his stats are pretty impressive, one must remember that he played in the pass first, second and third — and if that fails, maybe run it once — offense at Texas Tech. Also, if Crabtree is taken out of a game early, he may never show up. He needs to get his touches in order to thrive.

I would lean toward drafting Jeremy Maclin or Mohamed Massaquoi over Crabtree. That is just a personal preference, though.
