Matt Shaughnessy, DE Wisconsin

Matt Shaughnessy: 6′5, 266 lbs

Shaughnessy is a player who is level across the board. He’s not great at any one thing, but he isn’t going to look bad either.

His senior year did not live up to the expectations, but he is not one to get down on himself and quit.

May be best suited as a 3-4 down lineman, as he can get away with doing just the little things. The emphasis on playmaking lies for on the linebackers. Maybe he could stay in-state and play end for Green Bay, which is switching to the 3-4 base.

Shaughnessy may not come off the board early in the Draft.
