Josh Freeman, QB Kansas State

Josh Freeman: 6′5 1/2, 250 lbs
Much of Freeman’s draft stock is based on potential. He carries a big arm to go along with his big frame and athletic ability.
While his overall play at Manhattan never garnered him much NCAA notability, Freeman’s potential has some considering him as a first round pick. The caution with drafting on potential is this, a team must know that it can mold Freeman into a successful quarterback. One hint: Being able to throw the ball hard does not automatically translate into success.
Freeman himself compares his playing style to that of Ben Roethlisberger.
