While versatile in that he can run, pass and catch, Williams is too slow in pads and doesn’t run with enough power to make up for it.
Williams big problem is that he never made a position for himself at Penn State. He was sort of a jack-of-all trades, playing receiver, half back and quarterback. A player like Pat White would have an easier time transitioning to the NFL, especially in an offense such as the Wildcat. There may not be a place in the NFL for a player like Williams.
