Brandon Smith: 6′2, 251 lbs

Brandon Smith played in just 6 games for the Buckeyes as a Senior, but he showed the ability to block and rumble after the catch.

His style of play is comparable to that of Daniel Graham, but on a less-consistent level. Passing certainly was not the focus of the Buckeyes offense, as Terrelle Pryor’s legs did much of the work.

As the Patriots have proven, there is always room in the NFL for an unheralded tight end. Smith could latch on if willing to do the dirty work.
